2 Single Garage Doors vs. Double Garage Door

First of all, the price is typically the same for either. If you have 2 single doors, you wont have to worry about hot or cold air escaping as much when you open one door. If you have a double door, much more air will escape. This is important for some people. Having a double garage door, well… you are pretty much screwed (can’t park in the garage or can’t close the door) until you fix the door.

Why? Well, the torsion springs are under an extreme amount of pressure. If you do not handle it properly, you will find out very quickly when that extreme amount of pressure is released – it is enough to kill you.
