When replacing your garage door, you will need to remove the torsion springs. However, you need training and special equipment to remove the torsion springs.

Why? Well, the torsion springs are under an extreme amount of pressure. If you do not handle it properly, you will find out very quickly when that extreme amount of pressure is released – it is enough to kill you.
